The Pennsylvania Film Industry Association (PaFIA), is a non-profit organization with a mission of giving voice to local movie-makers and film industry professionals. PaFIA needed a new website that effectively conveys updates on all of their activities, and serves as a useful instrument for recruiting new members and sponsors.
I built a WordPress theme from scratch providing a whole new fresh and informative online experience for visitors. We added an interactive home page slideshow, search and directory features, an event publishing section, and a press room for their recent publicity updates. Since the website contains lots of info, our primary focus was to organize it in a way that is easy to manage and absorb. Additionally, we automated the Member Directory upload process, and gave them the ability to display rotating sponsor logos.
